AUTHLIB Presentation: The non-economic varieties of illiberalism

Professor Zsolt Enyedi (CEU) presented preliminary research findings at the 2024 Annual Conference of the Serbian Political Science Association, held in Belgrade on 26-27 October. The paper, co-authored by Professor Enyedi, Bálint Mikola (CEU Democracy Institute) and Dean Schafer (CEU Democracy Institute, Mississippi State University), draws on expert assessments and AUTHLIB’s own survey conducted in seven European countries and examines the non-economic varieties of illiberalism in party positions and in the attitudes of party voters focusing on political and cultural divides.
